Hi my name is oldy...I got a little problem that i'm hopin you guys might be able to help me out with.....I own a jc cosmo 20bt (TUF 208) .. The problem is that the dash doesn't work... The speedo works but thats it... The tacko and speedo light up (back lights), the needles do light up red sometimes (flick on and off), but i got no fuel gauge, engine temp, or any of the other accessories. The car has had a manual conversion before i bought it 3 yrs ago.. I thought it might have just been a faulty cluster, so i tracked one of them down, put it in and still the same problem. It a bloody awesome car to drive but this little problem is startin to really piss me off....So now i'm thinking that i might have a loose earth somewhere and i'm at the point where i'm goin to send the car to an auto electrician, am i doin anything wrong..pls help, any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks

Well, a bad earth should be the first thing that you look for. Having said that, seeing that you have changed the cluster, and having only your speedo work, is there a common sensor that connects the rest of the faulty instruments together? this may be the issue. hell i'm no expert on that model, shit I've never even seen one in person! but if your not comfortable in pulling it all apart again, give it to the experts! might cost you a green one or so, but for peace of mind and to know its fixed might be worth it!
